Cleanroom Design and Build Projects – July 2021
In a month where we saw England reach the first final of a men’s major tournament in 55 years, Wales reach the final 16, and Scotland compete in their first men’s tournament since 1998—good times never seemed so good for Connect 2 Cleanrooms!
We have been appointed to deliver a 250m² cleanroom as part of an £18 million consortium project to develop and scale production of the future generation of electric vehicle batteries.
UK Research and Innovation are investing £80 million into electrification technologies as part of its driving the electric revolution challenge. The challenge will focus on growing the UK’s power electronics, electric machines, and drives (PEMD) supply chains and manufacturing capability. We are proud to be supporting this innovation with controlled environments that produce the optimum conditions for battery production.
Elsewhere, we were thrilled to have been appointed once again to deliver a modular softwall cleanroom to give part-coverage of an injection moulding machine for a medical components SME. We’ve been this client’s contamination control partner for over a decade, supporting their clean production with cleanrooms, validation, PPE, and cleaning supplies.
And it’s not just SMEs who come back to C2C time and time again. A global life science business also re-appointed us in July for a cleanroom facility to support blood and cell processing. When existing clients come back to us, we feel it’s a testament to our service and capability. When partnerships are formed there is better collaboration and higher efficiencies, so the benefits of established relationships are exponential.
