What did the client need?
BAE Systems needed a new cleanroom to manufacture an electronic aerospace component. BAE System’s existing cleanroom facility was located in a different part of the site to production, which required outdoor transport. During inclement weather, parts could not be transported – sometimes slowing the production process.
How did the client benefit?
BAE Systems came to us with a simple URS that we developed into a design. We designed a bespoke cleanroom that is not only process-led and price competitive, but it is independent of the fabric of their building, so it can easily be relocated and expanded as required.
Our effective project management meant that timely answers were provided to any queries, which made the project run smoothly.
How did we help the client?
BAE Systems benefitted from having an accessible cleanroom, which was truly built-to-purpose. For example, ESD was a big risk to production and the ESD tiled flooring with sub-layer of conductive strips we utilised, satisfied this pressure point for BAE Systems.
“BAE Systems were pleased with how our engineers conducted themselves on site, commenting on how professional the team were, overcoming adverse weather challenges and still completing the project on time.”
