The Angstrom Technology Design & Build Process

You know you need a modular cleanroom, but perhaps you’d like to understand more of the process when working with us. Here at Angstrom Technology, our experienced and knowledgeable team of designers and engineers take the time to fully understand your project and its unique challenges. We look into the right options for your project and formulate a plan to guide you through the process, from idea to fully operational environment. Here is a little more about the design and build process of creating a modular cleanroom.

Cleanroom Design & Build

Design

Once the project and environment requirements have been established, and a 3D scan of the area has been completed (if required), the cleanroom is taken from paper space to digital space, utilising our market-leading software.

This allows a dedicated design engineer to create a 3D model and drawings, which are then presented to the client, in the approval stage. Once the design has been approved, the project will progress to the construction phase, where materials are procured for the on-site build.

Procurement

Once the client has provided full approval, our dedicated team proceed with ordering and sourcing the components, following the procurement plan. Lead times are considered and planned ahead of schedule, to ensure that the project timeline is met throughout the project. Our fantastic supplier relationships, along with MRP systems and in-house expertise allow us to ensure the product is delivered on time and to the highest quality.

Logistics are also handled in this phase of the project, where the delivery schedule is shared with the client to ensure as much risk is mitigated as possible during shipping.

Installation

The installation process is where the designs really come to life! Materials are dispatched from our warehouse and arrive on-site for the start of the construction process. A dedicated team of installation professionals will then work together on-site, following an installation plan, to construct the specified cleanroom environment, according to drawings and BIM models provided by the team.

Once complete, our validation engineers will then commission and validate the cleanroom to specification, ready to be handed over to the client, complete with all the relevant documentation.

When any project is complete, that isn’t the end of our working relationship! We work continuously with our customers, providing additional services such as cleanroom operator trainingvalidation appointments, ongoing support and consultation services. We even provide a reliable supply of consumables and equipment for your cleanroom through Cleanroomshop.
