Cleanroom Design and Build Projects - April 2022

Just as we are due to attend Battery Tech Expo on 12th May, we have applied the finishing touches on a stunning facility in the North East of England in an industrialisation centre for electronic battery development. You’ll hear more about this cleanroom after it is unveiled at an opening ceremony later this year.

In April, we’ve supported several organisations with Rapid Room cleanrooms from our Off-the-shelf range. These cleanrooms are available from stock and are perfect as an entry-level solution to contamination control, or as a way to react quickly to changes in production demands.

Clients with our entry-level Off-the-shelf cleanrooms subsequently come back to us—as their needs develop—for Custom-built cleanrooms with a larger footprint and additional features. This has happened twice in April alone! One bioscience company in Scotland has appointed us to work on a monobloc ISO cleanroom, whilst a chemicals manufacturer in England’s North West has appointed us to design and build a softwall ISO Cleanroom.

Our range of cleanrooms is designed to support our clients by offering solutions that span a variety of price, speed and specification needs. With integrated cleanroom services, we can also bundle consumables packages to make it even easier for our clients to control contamination in their processes.

Elsewhere on mainland Europe this month, we have extended a cleanroom for a global healthcare manufacturing company. And in Germany, one of our softwall cleanrooms was even featured in a video from Erkol Fill, who has introduced a new automated PCR test filling line.

Back in the UK, we have recently just installed the final panel in the third phase of the cleanroom project we’ve been building for Cytiva for single use processing. To find out more about this flagship project and what it means for regional UK manufacturing, watch this broadcast with Cytiva and Connect 2 Cleanrooms.
