Cleanroom Design and Build Projects – August 2022

In the month that the hotly anticipated GMP Annex 1 revision had its official launch, C2C has been working on several GMP cleanrooms for pharma applications. In the past few months, our Regulatory Governance team has been working hard behind the scenes so now the draft has become live, we are ready for implementation of EU GMP Annex 1 to keep our clients compliant.

Projects are progressing smoothly. As one project for a cellular agriculture build approaches completion, we are finalising a range of custom-built cleanroom project designs, such as a large CBD cleanroom in the North West. Our install team is ready to begin builds throughout the UK early in September.

We get excited by engineering challenges and love to custom-build solutions to solve pain points for our clients. This month, our team has engineered a bespoke softwall cleanroom with a significant internal height to allow our client’s high-spec and large-scale machinery to be protected by the critical environment.

Cleanrooms are a significant investment for a company to make and so we want to sure that our cleanrooms keep on adding value to our clients for years to come. An investment in a modular cleanroom is a sure-fire, long-term investment, and this month we’ve relocated a client’s ISO class 7 cleanroom to be situated within their extended production area. We always recommend revalidating after a relocation, and this cleanroom will be validated as part of the client’s annual service contract, saving them time and money.

We’ve also delivered a temperature-controlled ISO 7 hardwall room for an electronics company in the UK and a stainless-steel room in Switzerland. Phew, what a month!

Don’t forget we are exhibiting at Space-Comm next week on 7-8th September! Register for free tickets and visit us on stand E51.

It’s been another exciting month at Connect 2 Cleanrooms. Do you have a project you’d like to speak to us about?
