Cleanroom Design & Build Projects – June 2022
Glastonbury festival and the start of Wimbledon have signalled the true start of summer in the UK, and things are certainly heating up at Connect 2 Cleanrooms! From space to pharma—and a whole lot of sectors in between—read all about the customers we’ve been serving this June.
As part of the Angstrom Group of Companies, we can offer our clients market-leading expertise on both sides of the Atlantic. What does this mean for our clients? Well, as one client found out this month, we can supply UK and USA divisions with the same cleanroom solution. Working with us across multiple facilities expedites the cleanroom design and specification stages to deliver consistency and save costs. This approach has been so successful with our client, that they have indicated they will soon be investing in another 12 cleanrooms with us.
We’ve recently seen an upturn in projects from the aerospace sector, so it seems that the industry is once again gaining momentum. As well as being appointed for a monobloc cleanroom in Belgium, we’ve also started design work for a prestigious UK supplier in the Aerospace sector. This project will be a huge transformation of the client’s existing space. We can’t wait to share more about this project with you.
We’ve also come to the rescue of a multinational pharma company after its production shut down because of issues with its existing (non-C2C!) cleanroom facility. We met with them on the 10th of June and fast-tracked the project due to the urgency of their situation. We will be on-site installing a contingency cleanroom on the 13th of July to get production up and running again. It’s projects like this that make us proud to be able to make a difference.
Other projects we’ve been working on in June include two upgrades and modifications, a hardwall cleanroom with temperature control for a global lifecycle client making plastic components, and a smaller hardwall room for a physics department for one of the UK’s highest-ranking universities.
Last but not least, and just to prove how varied our projects are, we are pleased to be working with a highly-reputable CBD manufacturer to protect their new line of gummy bears!
